2011 KCAI Scholarship Auction

A gentle reminder and call to Kansas City Art Institute alumni, faculty and designer friends:

We know you’re asked repeatedly to support fundraising activities of all stripes. We also know that you do more than your fair share by saying “yes” more often than “no.” All of this said, this one’s unique. It’s highly likely that most of you received some kind of financial support as students. This is the one biennial event dedicated exclusively to raising funds for student scholarships.

The deadline for donating work to this year’s Art and Design Auction is Friday, April 1 (no joke). That’s to ensure full color image inclusion in the Auction Catalogue, a terrific way to make sure everyone sees your work ahead of time so that appropriate levels of lust and desire can be built. Donations afterward are welcome too. They’ll just be included in a black and white addendum.

Thanks for your consideration. The event is June 4th, 2011 on the KCAI campus. For more detailed information, visit the Kansas City Art Institute’s website.
